Fourth Grade Discipline Plan Believing that it is our God-given responsibility to “train up a child in the way he should go,” we will make it our mission this year to teach the children to be aware of their actions, to take responsibility for correcting those inappropriate actions, and to adjust their motives in regard to those behaviors. Each child will have a weekly behavior sheet. If a child exhibits inappropriate behavior, a warning will be given. If the misconduct continues, that child will receive a mark on the behavior sheet for each infraction. After three marks in one day, parents will be contacted. Each mark will mean five minutes off recess for that day. Habitual misbehavior will warrant a trip to the office or other consequences. The behavior sheet will be sent home weekly in the Thursday Folders for the parents to sign and return. The child will receive a small reward for bringing back the signed form on Friday. On the positive side, a class may earn “compliments,” which will result in the whole class receiving a reward after 20 compliments accumulate.
